The short answer is “yes”! Once you’ve set up your account with Gallagher Uniform’s online platform, it’s fairly simple to reapply to additional jobs that you are interested in and it lets us know that you are still actively seeking employment if time has passed. There are also position-specific questions that you might not have had the opportunity to answer previously.
While the process may be stopped by the candidate or Gallagher Uniform at any time if determined not to be a right fit, the typical process from start to finish would include the following: phone interview, 1st interview with skill assessment, ride along/job shadow or 2nd interview, prior to a job offer.
Nope! While we do look for candidates that may have previous route or customer service/delivery experience, it is not a requirement to apply or interview. If offered a position, it is contingent on both obtaining a 1-2 year DOT card (at the cost of Gallagher Uniform) and obtaining a Chauffeurs license (candidate’s cost).
Gallagher Uniform reviews each position uniquely to identify the skills and qualifications necessary and posts those with each job description. We do have several positions that do not require this.
Currently, you must be at least 18 years of age to work for us unless we have opened up an internship or summer program with different requirements, and at least 21 years of age to be considered for Routes due to the Department of Transportation requirements.
Yes! Gallagher Uniform currently offers two different medical plans to help our associates select what is best for them and their families and Gallagher Uniform contributes much of the plan premium costs. We also pay 100% of the dental and vision premiums.
While we encourage great attendance and reliability to keep things running smoothly, we have opted to frontload 72 hours upon employment to help associates be successful when life happens. ESTA time is part of our PTO bank. There is a 6-month waiting period to use the time for purposes that are not included under ESTA.
Absolutely! We are always happy to see our associates move up and we have many examples. We post all new job openings internally for 3 business days before we consider external candidates.
Reliability, hard work, and good attitude are three characteristics for success in any position at Gallagher Uniform. Many of our tasks can be trained with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
