Gallagher Uniform COVID-19 Response

At Gallagher Uniform, the health and well-being of our customers, associates, and community members is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty our customers may be experiencing surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and we are committed to being responsive to everyone’s needs. As a company that invests in continuous improvements, like certifications and compliances for the industries we serve, we understand the importance of cleanliness and safety.

The Gallagher Uniform leadership team is taking a close look at how we manage daily operations. It is assured that the normal laundry process will effectively remove and/or kill the virus. Nonetheless we think it prudent to let our customers know what we at Gallagher Uniform are doing to protect our team and our customers.

Deliveries

Extra precaution is being taken to ensure soil is separated from clean garments, mats, and facility services. Each Route Service Representatives trucks and equipment will undergo extra sanitation, and hand sanitizer dispensers are now installed on all trucks.

TRSA: Hygienically Clean

Gallagher is 95% certified for our TRSA Hygienically Clean Certification. We currently facilitate the separation of soil from clean products inside our plant, disinfect soil carts, and document 2-3 kill points for virus and germs. These kill points take place in our hot water wash process, chemicals and bleaches used during washing, and in our steam tunnel high temperatures.

Personal Hygiene / Cleanliness

Hand sanitizer and hand washing stations have been upgraded throughout our plant. We are educating all associates on the importance of hand washing, disinfecting, and keeping workstations clean.

PPE

Personal Protection Equipment is required and now enhanced at our soil check-in area.

Sick / Ill Staff Members

We are closely monitoring associates and encouraging those who feel ill to stay home. PTO time is being offered for those associates who are sick and are being advised by their doctor to stay home.

Unless ordered from a higher agency, we at Gallagher Uniform remain open, and continue making all customer deliveries. Rest assured you can count on Gallagher Uniform, and you can continue to do so for as long as we service your account.
